The Brighton bruisers serve up a massive slice of apocalyptic post-hardcore metal that leaves devastation in its wake. The opening track - The Jaded And The Eager - is less than one-minute of torrid vehemence that just sets the scene and is immediately followed with the explosive, skull crushing heaviness of Maggot.

Robert Newson’s vocals have face melting ferocity that blasts and singes, turning all that are near into replicas of the Incredible Melting Man. Harsh, aggressive screams matching the chugging guitar groove that defines their sound and is continued in Doctrine another thumping, earth chiselling piece of metal. And a special mention for Unhinged, featuring Earthtone9’s Karl Middleton and duelling vocals, which make for unbelievable intensity with an excellent reverberating chorus melody.

The album is packed with clomping, bludgeoning, songs that hammer out the words "Landmine Spring" as if shaping them on the landscape. Another awesome production job by Dave Chang gives a clear and powerful sound, yet retaining an essential rawness. An excellent album that deserves to be in the record collection of everyone who proclaims to like heavy music!
