Stoopi kick out a solid, wholesome, murderous style of metal, with chunky and downtuned rumblings that are interspersed with occasional chaotic rhythm patterns. It often contains strong melody and can be powerfully balladic, yet it trades with aggression at will. It's enticing in a Venus-fly-trap sort of way, drawing in the unsuspecting before butchering without mercy.

A quality song such as Breathe has melody as well as a hook, line and sinker, whereas Saltwound, Safe and Empty and Silence show anger and frustration when bellowing, no thundering out chugging sounds like a demented hybrid of Pulkas, Hatebreed, Converse and Botch. During one song - Drawn - they sound like a pissed off Incubus however there is one horrible moment - with Anaesthetic - the sound goes into a Limp Bizkit vibe, but thankfully that is very short.

They have managed to create their own sound using their influences, which is helped tremendously with the good guy/bad guy vocals that one moment have razor slashing venom and the next memorable and distinctive singing. This is simply an excellent, high quality album from a very talented bunch of blokes who show the world how to play modern metal. Buy or let your cred die!
