With genuine surprise, these French bruisers present a CD that will grab you by the throat and shake so vigorously, that a slow haemorrhaging death will surely follow. The Parisians have - with the help of excellent production from Kurt Ballou (of Converge) - fashioned four tracks that spill from one into the next leaving behind a landscape of desolation.

It’s a chaotic metal conflict of rhythm and tempo against a backdrop of enraged vocals, which joust with a haphazard jazz-shaped design that dissipates any remaining conformism to create a structure with no edges. It bubbles with anarchic neatness and fierce convulsions of irregular energy in a composed frenzy of hyperactivity like a freak Darwinian brew of Dillinger Escape Plan, Canderia and Converge.

This EP gives the opportunity to hear just a taste of what Nostradamus 0014 are about, with this fine demonstration of their darting streaks of musical eruptions. It’s only 15 minutes of music but it leaves you with your curiosity aroused and with a strong desire to hear more. Highly Recommended.
