"Articulating The Unspoken" is a demo by a band called Produkt.  Not knowing an awful lot about the band or their recording, other than it’s a self released four track EP from a band that are based out of South Yorkshire.

And it’s a totally brutal affair, that kicks off with “Hope Lies In Me”.  Blisteringly hot, this song rips and tears at a pounding pace with throat shredding vocals spouting disillusioned lyrics of discontent. “Distillation Of The Pure” does nothing to slow things down and is short and anything but sweet. “Imitatio Florentine” definitely gets grittier, a little more downtuned and allows a certain amount of darkness to settle. Violently jerking from riff to riff with the inception of Botch-like guitar screeching, it is a killer song that goes for the jugular. Finally, “Victim Of Geography” maintains the intensity with more aural battering, the chugging sections destroying whole civilisations in it’s wake.

While you can feel certain derivatives of other recent metal bands such as maybe Slipknot and Mudvayne as well as older influences such as Pantera or Machine Head, there is a fearsome and fresh determination to be found here also. This band sound so damn angry, they make you want to go and set fire to your kid sister's Barbie doll - in intelligent protest of the corporate plunders of the masses - of course!
