This band is heavy… very heavy. They have the capacity to rip your face right off with skin shredding riffs, scorching pace and growling vocals.  They can turn things dark and gruesome and tune it down further with venomous snarls and barks that would entice Satan into church.  But, what makes this band so damn good is the way they then mix in some of the most glorious guitar melodies and skilfully tailored singing and make it all balance perfectly.  The chop from immense heaviness to virtuous melody can sometimes be so beguiling that it’s like a menacing Mike Tyson throwing you a rose or like a pit-bull terrier wearing a tutu…

Every songs a good un’ but to give a better idea of the variety to be found, “Keithie's Done Himself A Mischief” is played flat out hardcore and takes no prisoners and “Don't Stop...Rodeo!!” sounds like Hundred Reasons playing Iron Maiden… in the style of a death metal band. “Don't Forget To Feed The Fish” has awesome melodies that intricately winds through a skin tingling emotional triad and “Yeah Girl, You Said It!” take the synchronised lead forages into Poison The Well territory.  “Amphibian Kiss” floats through fluffy clouds and finally “Intensity In 10 Cities” goes all evil, dark and is a penetrating double bass drum thrash with deep demonic vocals, mixing fast pace with strategic unhurried passages of devil worship and conjures up images of Johnny Truant shagging Testament!

This welsh five-piece have an awesome talent for song writing and with “Unspoken Dialect” have managed to create an excellent debut album that shows huge character and a pleasing maturation of their own style.  With their remarkable ability to exchange light with dark at the flick of a switch and the outstanding use of melody in both vocals and the sweet twin lead guitars, they have said so much without speaking as much as a word. Highly recommended.
